    Synopsis

The AMC Original Drama Series The Walking Dead, the worldwide phenomenon and television’s most-watched drama, tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse. It follows a group of survivors, led by former police officer Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln, Love Actually), who travel in search of a safe and secure home. Over time, the characters are changed by the constant exposure to death and some grow willing to do anything to survive.

The Golden Globe®-nominated series returns for an epic eighth season and sees Rick bring ‘all-out war’ to Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan, The Good Wife) and his forces. The Saviours are larger, better equipped, and ruthless – but Rick and the unifi ed communities are fighting for the promise of a brighter future. The battle lines are drawn as they launch into a kinetic, action-packed offensive.

Up until now, survival has been the focus of Rick and our group, but it’s not enough. They have to fight to take back their freedom so that they can live. So that they can rebuild. As with any battle, there will be losses. Casualties. But with Rick leading the Alexandrian forces, Maggie (Lauren Cohan, Batman V. Superman: The Dawn of Justice) leading the Hilltop, and King Ezekiel (Khary Payton, Young Justice) leading the Kingdom – Negan and the Saviours’ grip on this world may finally be coming to an end.
